Big Time Rush has been counting down to 11/21/11 and the release of their new album Elevate for quite some time now, but now BTR fans can rejoice because it’s finally here.
That’s right, BTR’s second album just hit stores and Celebuzz spoke with half of the quartet, Kendall Schmidt and Logan Henderson, to talk about the big year they’ve had and the even bigger year that’s to come.
One of the biggest events in the coming year for Nickelodeon’s popular boy band is their Big Time Tour. When we asked what they had planned, Logan said that while nothing is really set in stone yet, that they’re definitely looking forward to it, and they are excited to travel around the US.
We also asked how Elevate compares to their debut album BTR, to which Logan said “they don’t.” (But in a good way!) He elaborated a bit and said: “When we were writing songs for the first album, a lot coincided with the TV and for this we had a little bit more freedom when it comes to the writing process.”
And when it comes to fan encounters, the guys love meeting as many as they can, as Kendall said that it’s nice to see that “instant gratification” when attending events such as meet and greets and signings. Since they do so much traveling, we asked what they like to do in their downtime to which both replied: “Sleep!” They also like to catch up on shows, like The Walking Dead.
When we asked if there’s anyone else they’d like to work with, they said they would love to throw down some beats with Drake and Logan said: “I’d love to sit and have a cup of tea with Adele.” BTR and Adele? Count us in!
As for their Thanksgiving plans (aside from their performing the national anthem at the Miami Dolphins vs. Dallas Cowboys football game … no big deal), all four guys will be spending the day at Logan’s aunt’s house in Texas. Too cute!
